EQ Lights originated from the hospitality industry. After years on the floor, we kept seeing the same issues arise: service is late, staff are under pressure, and technology doesn't always improve things; sometimes it even makes them worse. While it is precisely that personal service that is at the heart of hospitality. We believe that technology should not replace this, but rather enhance it. Especially in a world where technology is playing an increasingly central role, the human aspect must remain at the forefront.
EQ Lights has therefore been developed as a subtle service instrument that moves in sync with the rhythm of a restaurant, bar, or hotel, without disrupting the experience. Our focus is on simplicity, design, and functionality. No complex systems, but an intuitive solution that works immediately.

Our mission is to help hospitality entrepreneurs deliver better service without extra staff. Owner & business development
Joeri is an experienced entrepreneur with a strong background in innovation, customer relations, and responsible business practices. Over the years, he has built several companies, always focusing on smart solutions that improve processes and help organisations grow. With his experience in ergonomic office design, events, and facility management, he understands how service, efficiency, and experience come together. Within EQ Lights, he translates that practical knowledge into sustainable growth, strategy, and strong collaborations.
Jente van de Ven
Sales & relationship management
Jente has hospitality in his blood by nature. With a background from the Hotel School Maastricht and over 14 years of international experience, he has worked in various roles within service, operations, and guest experience, including in exclusive Formula 1 hospitality. This gives him a precise understanding of what entrepreneurs, teams, and guests need on a daily basis. At EQ Lights, he translates practical insights into strong customer relationships, growth, and smart service solutions.
